Close the loop, free your mind.
As an experiment, look around in the room you are in right now. How many drawers are ajar. How many pieces of paper not put away. How many projects half done.
These are all activities that have been started but are frozen mid-stream. You will get a lot more done, be much better organized, and a lot less stressed if you can complete as many of these activities as possible from start to finish–rather than letting them hang fire midstream.
Obviously, a lot of tasks can’t be done in one sitting, but many many many many many can. Make a habit of closing the loop. You will get a big boost of energy and clarity.
