What Gets Measured, Gets Managed

Have you ever heard the phrase, “what gets measured gets managed?”  Well, it’s true.  Measure your progress towards specific goals, and watch how it makes a difference.

  • Want to lose weight?  Step on that scale, every day.
  • Want to get more exercise in your life?  Wear a pedometer and track your steps.
  • Eager to start a blog?  Commit to posting daily–and track it.

Also, create streaks.  Just X out each day on a calendar to track the number of consecutive days you have completely your task.  Or use TDP.ME to track your streaks.

Tracking your activities isn’t a panacea, but it will help dramatically.
