Thoughts on Ready… Fire… Aim…

The advice we often come across to just jump in and “ready, fire, aim,” may have its place, but it is not for everyone and doesn’t have to be.  Some people are more deliberate.  They really want to take the lay of the land before they leap.

These folks want to walk, talk, think, and take deliberate steps.  This approach may be a bit slower at the start, but you may have less wasted effort in the middle of the game.  Less massive backtracking.

There are many types of people in this world.  Not all of them are the headlong, impetuous type.  They can still accomplish great things.

Still, we should never forget — taking that first step into whatever makes you nervous is often good counsel.
