Technical skills are great, but entrepreneurial, marketing, and investment skills are (usually) senior to technical skills—from an ROI point of view.

This is because technical skills are increasingly easy to outsource, but the creative side and ability to identify new needs on the market, network, market, create, etc. is difficult to outsource.

The combination of both technical skills and the rest is dynamite.

The great thing is that both technical and entrepreneurial skills can be deployed from anywhere in the world in the modern economy.

One approach would be to learn the technical skills, get a job, then develop entrepreneurial projects on the side.  Another is to just go for it and found a startup once you have the technical skills.  Both have pros and cons.
